He was predeceased by: his parents, Maudie Hood and Luther Hood; and his brothers, James Hood, Roger Hood, Carl Hood and Bobby Ray Hood.
He is survived by: his wife Becky Batchelor; his children, Tera Terese Hood, Terry Lee Hood and Johnny Ray Richie (Pam); his stepchildren, Ben Hooker (Paige), Shenna Cochran (Jonathan) and Alicia Duncan (John); his siblings, Betty Sue Ownby (Dwight), Brenda Kelly (Wayne) and Wayne Hood (Rena); his grandchildren, Makenzie Lee Bullock, Makayla Johnson (Cordale), Katelyn Chree Bullock, Justin Richie, John Hooker, Caroline Hooker, Callie Hooker, Gavin Cummings and Chloe Cochran; and his great grandchildren, Emma and Ellie Johnson.
