She was predeceased by: her parent Walker; and her sons, Michael Gurvis Sutherland and Rex Allen Sutherland. She is survived by: her husband Gurvis; her daughters, Susan Sutherland and Stephani Sutherland Williamson (Damon); her grandsons, Josh Sutherland (Danielle), Juston Sutherland (Robin), Brayden Williamson and Canaan Williamson; and her great grandchildren, Lauren, Libby, Collier and Beckham.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the New Prospect Baptist Church (202 Co Rd 3463, Haleyville, AL 35565). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
