She was predeceased by: her husband Fred D. Nix; her daughter-in-law Debbie Nix; her parents, Ervin Hicks and Ella Hicks; and her siblings, Vernelle Miller, Mac Cummings, L. C. Hicks and James Hicks.
She is survived by: her children, Alan Nix (Susan), Kathy Boyett (Reynold) and Jennifer Beasley (Greg); her nephew David Miller; her grandchildren, Amber Shell (Chad), Allison Lolley (Jeremiah), Joseph Boyett (Neely), Julie Ergle (Kelly), Jonathan Nix, Sara Woods (Jared), Brad Austin (Katie), Katie Rinks (Layne) and Michael Austin (Katie); and her great grandchildren, Hudson Shell, Kipton Shell, Cason Shell, Beasley Lolley, Ruthie Lolley, Carter Boyett, Braylee Boyett, Kannon Ergle, Josie Belle Ergle, Carson Deaton, Zadie Woods, Aubrie Nix, William Rinks, Lillie Austin, Harper Rinks, Kinslee Nix, Jay Woods, Hallie Rinks, Cameron Austin, Hazel Austin and Hannah Austin.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to First Baptist Church, Phil Campbell, Operation Christmas Child fund, or First Baptist Women's Missionary Union.
