It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Buckner (Haleyville, Alabama), who passed away on December 10, 2019, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Horace Buckner and Amy Gertrude Thomas; and his siblings, Raynard Buckner, Hiram Buckner, Fred Buckner, Polly Pearson and Peggy Buckner.
He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Estill Buckner; his sister Carolyn Buckner Wilson; his sisters-in-law, Sandy Buckner Downs and Mary Buckner; his great-aunt Dorsie Huggins; and his nieces and nephews, Linda Pounders, Rebecca Otto, Carol Buckner, Brittany Coons, Raynard Buckner, Kevin Buckner, Gary Buckner, Greg Wilson and Bruce Wilson. He is also survived by several great nieces and nephews, other family and friends.
