He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard H. Allen and Mildred Alexander; his stepfather Hoyle Alexander; his wife Opal Faye Allen; and his brother James Allen.
He is survived by: his children, Mollie Carter, Jeff Allen and Derek Allen; his brother Mike Alexander; his grandchildren, Riley Shelnutt, Megan Welborn, Morgan Busby, Taylor Dodge and Kaylee Long; and his great grandchildren, Maddie Drew Welborn, Teegan Welborn, Joseph Shelnutt, McKenna Busby and Kaylzn Dodge.
A funeral service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Pinkard Funeral Home (1308 21st St, Haleyville, AL 35565).
