He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernice Prestridge and Rachel Reynolds Prestridge; his sister Virginia Prestridge Reeves; and his grandparents, Homer, Mattie Scott Prestridge, Mack and Mary Harris Reynolds.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Martin Prestridge; his daughter Stacey Holcomb (Michael); his grandsons, Blake, Zach and Jordan Duncan; and his siblings, Roger Prestridge (Joyce), Joyce McClain, Peggy Cole (James) and Glenda Yerby. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
