It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rachel Wells Hofues Armstrong (Haleyville, Alabama), born in Huntsville, Alabama, who passed away on July 31, 2018, at the age of 49, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father John Leon Hofues, Jr.; and her nephew Caleb Hofues. She is survived by: her husband Tommy Lee Armstrong; her mother Nancy Wells Hofues; her siblings, Jennifer Norman and John William Hofues; her nephews, Tyler Nye, Jonathon Wood and John Allen Norman; her niece Rachel Katherine Parmer; her sister-in-law Margaret Behel; and her nieces and nephews, Jeannie Lyon, Janie Keaton, Eric Lyon and Matthew Behel. She is also survived by numerous grandnieces and grandnephews.
