It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Peggy Joyce Sutherland Defoor (Haleyville, Alabama), who passed away on April 7, 2019, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband M. L. Defoor; her granddaughter Laura Wallace; and her siblings, Curtis Sutherland, Thomas Sutherland, Buice Sutherland and Aubrey Sutherland.
She is survived by: her children, Deborah Wallace, Mark Defoor, Dennis Defoor, Phillip Defoor, Douglas Defoor, Timothy Defoor and Angela Sledge; and her siblings, Christene Knight, Earl Sutherland, Wanda Barker and Gurvis Sutherland. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
