It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Odessa R. Shiver of Haleyville, Alabama, who passed away on January 12, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Dallas and Celia Savannah Reynolds; her husband C. W. Shiver; and her son Terry Shiver. She is survived by: her sons, Larry Steve Shiver (Karen) and Mark Anthony Shiver (Carolyn); her siblings, Eddie Mae Cheek and R. J. Reynolds; her grandchildren, Heather Shiver St. Clair, Crystal N. Shiver and Justin Shiver; and her great grandchildren, Genevieve St. Clair, Gabriella St. Clair and Annabelle Shiver.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Pinkard Funeral Home (1308 21st St, Haleyville, AL 35565). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Winston Memorial (96 county road 36, Haleyville, AL 35565).
