She was predeceased by: her husband James "Verble" Martin; and her parents, William Borden and Eva Borden. She is survived by: her daughters, Cheryl Thornton (Robert), Sandra Schafer (John) and Sheila Garrison; her grandchildren, Susan Thornton, Chris Miller, Linda Johnson (Dustin), Nathan Rhodes (Christa), James Floyd, Katti Nicole Mann (Patrick), Jerred Clint Schafer and Erik Ryan Schafer (Katlin); her great grandchildren, Parker Johnson, Deklyn Johnson, John Patrick Mann, Alianna Schafer and Maverick Schafer; and her sister Elsie Newell.
