She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Brooks and Jessie Brooks; and her siblings, Bill Brooks (Jenelle) of Moulton, Margie Thomas and Joan Burney (Phillip).
She is survived by: her children, Linda Sapp (David) of Haleyville, Dorothy Odell (Robert) of Town Creek, Wade Brooks of Rogersville, Billy Brooks of Haleyville and Margaret Brooks of Town Creek; and her sisters, Mattie Brackin Pennington of Town Creek and Faye Parker of Town Creek. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and other extended family.
