She was predeceased by: her mother Edna Batchelor; her grandson Matthew Hood; and her siblings, Mary McNutt, Jimmy Luther Batchelor, Tony Evans and Chris Batchelor.
She is survived by: her husband Ozie Austin Hood, Jr.; her children, Stephanie Stevens (Michael), Jeremy Hood (Amanda), Amanda Dotson (Scott), Chasta Yarbrough (Jonathan) and Crystal Dodd (Chris); her father Jimmy Neal Batchelor; and her siblings, Patricia Hallman and Michael Evans. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, and one great grandchild.
