It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marion Nelson of Haleyville, Alabama, born in Lynchburg, Tennessee, who passed away on August 11, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Nelson and Aurrie Nelson; his children, Eugene Nelson, Ray Lane, Ricky Nelson, Lecia Seaton and Mary Nelson; and his siblings, Spud Nelson, Everett Oscar Clifford Nelson, Johnny Nelson, Wanda Prince and Jane Nelson Philpot.
He is survived by: his children, Jerry Nelson, Pamela Winn, Rose Nelson Hyde (Chris), Betty Nelson Taylor (Gary), Terrie Garcia, Carrie Cabello and Linda Hunt. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren; One fur baby.
