She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Rawls and Ida Eddy; her husband Eugene Mays; and her siblings, Faylene Dempsey, Odell Rawls, Durell Rawls and Betty Jean Clark.
She is survived by: her son Dennis Mays; her grandchildren, Mason Mays and Alston Mays (Emily); and her great grandchild Sadie Mays.
