She was predeceased by: her parents, James Kelley and Lucille Cross (Theron); her daughter Carol Rose; her grandson Eric Harris; and her siblings, Wanda Gail Kelley and Connie Kelley.

She is survived by: her husband Hubert Rose; and her children, Kenneth Kimbrough (Angela), Kathy Gay and Paula Pedigo. She is also survived by five grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.
