She was predeceased by: her parents, Verlie Barton and Flora Mae Barton; her husband Quinton "Red" Sims; and her brothers, Wallace Barton and David Barton.
She is survived by: her children, Cooney Hicks (Melissa) and Vivian Barnes (Purvey); her siblings, Johnny Barton (Barbara) and Frances Allred; her grandchildren, Jonathan Hicks (Andrea), Joshua Hicks (Mariah), Amanda Bartlett (Brandon), Kris Jones (Tiffany) and Amy Suitts (Troy); and her great grandchildren, Morgan Hicks, Deacon Hicks, Maggie Hicks, Braylee Bartlett, Ava Claire Bartlett, Branson Bartlett, Austin Jones, Ansel Jones and Ty Jones.
