He is survived by: his children, Wayne Cryer (Ginger), Randal Shugart, Kenda Watts (Wes), Natasha Herring and Tina Newell (Jonathan); his siblings, John Shugart (Donna), Judy Clark, Kathy Kingsolver (Mark) and PePaw; his grandchildren, Macie McReynolds, Hayden Edwards, Ella Cryer, Billy Watts, Jesse Watts, Cason Watts, Bella Watts, Sarah Herring, Emma Herring and Isaac Newell; and his great grandchildren, Kara McReynolds, Mikey McReynolds and Alexis McReynolds.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Winston County Adoptive Parent Association (PO Box 1056, Haleyville, Alabama 35565).
