She was predeceased by: her parents, James Clarence and Willie Lou Barnes (Nix); and her brother James Howard Barnes. She is survived by: her children, Amy Welch (Eddie) and Christopher Bridges (Kelly Smith); her grandchildren, Christanna Bridges, Gauge Bridges, Jasmine Bridges, Eddie "Booner" Welch Jr., Dante Smith and Keli Orton; her great grandchildren, Avianna Smith, Navana Smith and Kathern Belle Planchet; and her former husband Milton Wayne Bridges. She is also survived by siblings.
