He was predeceased by: his siblings, Tim Morris and Julia Wilson. He is survived by: his wife Vicki L. Morris; his daughter Cory Leigh Lawson; his brother Lonnie G. Morris, Jr.; and his grandchildren, Mary Scott Israel, John David "Jack" Lawson and Benjamin "Ben" Davis Bridges.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to any of the following: St. Jude Children's Research Hospital; M.D. Anderson Cancer Center; or the Lovelady Women and Children's Center-Birmingham, AL.
