He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnnie Colburn and Vernice Colburn; and his sisters, Doris Hunter and Itra Jean Colburn. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Colburn; his children, Vernon Colburn (Pat), Sammy Colburn (Vera), Stephanie Martin (William) and Lou Ann Adair; his siblings, James H. Colburn (Bonnie) and Lois Ayers (Bobby); his brother-in-law Alfred Hunter; his grandchildren, Victoria Martin (Bruce), Andy Meadows, Felicia Colburn, Jon Colburn (Lori), Staci Glover (Cody), Kayla Moore (Jacob), Heath Adair (Samantha), Tritt Martin (Corrissa), Kim Self (Keith), Holly Barnett (Bud), Cherise Long, Joey Borden, Diana Borden, Carrie Orrick (Joseph), Mark Benefield and Danielle Burnett; and also, Rose, Marvin, Sally, William Pearson, Doris Blanton and James Glenn (Rhonda). He is also survived by 26 great grandchildren.
