He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Scott and Fleeta Scott; his brother Jeffrey Scott; his wife Sharon Scott; his son Jayson Scott; and his brother-in-law James W. Crumpton.
He is survived by: his son Joel Scott Jr. (Jodie); his sisters, Brenda Scott, Carolyn Crumpton and Debbie Smith (Tim); his grandchildren, Kaela, Jordan, Mackenzie, Mia, Madden and Bella; and his great grandchildren, Brayden, Greycen and Casen. He is also survived by loving nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, Masonic brothers, and his beloved Church family.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Cowboy Church of Colbert County (3440 AL-157, Leighton, AL 35646). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
