It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jimmy Richardson Sr. of Haleyville, Alabama, who passed away on December 21, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Frank and Dollie Mae Richardson; his son Jimmy F. "Jimbo" Richardson; and his brothers, David Richardson and Gerald Richardson.
He is survived by: his wife Ann Rutledge Richardson; his children, Jeannie Brown, Johnny Richardson, George R. Richardson (Brittany), David Downing (Heather) and Rebecca Downing; his siblings, Jack Richardson (Linda) and Mary Ruth Burleson (Junior); his sister-in-law Rebecca Postell; and his grandchildren, Corey Hodges, Mason Brown, Dean Richardson, Georgia Kate Richardson, Morgan Downing and Will Downing.
