She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Hamby and Clara Hamby; her former husband Melvin Jackson; and her siblings, Lorene Martin, Hazel Lovett, Fayrene Bell, Mildred McCrary, Charlie Hamby, Etsel Hamby and Barbara Godsey.
She is survived by: her husband William E. Lakeman; her daughters, Robin Jackson McClung (Keith), Karen Jackson Duke (Lester) and Kathy Jackson Barber (Chester); her sister Francis Albright; her grandchildren, Jason Colburn, Season Crumpton, Miranda Medlock, Alma Barber and Lewis Barber; her great grandchildren, Hunter Colburn, Kaitlyn Colburn, Abba Crumpton, Lola Crumpton and Jackson Medlock; and her stepsons, Dale Lakeman, John Lakeman, Tom Lakeman, Mike Lakeman and Jeff Lakeman.
