He was predeceased by: his parents, Farris Lowman and Ruby Lowman; and his brothers, Bud Lowman and Toby Lowman. He is survived by: his wife Linda Lowman; his daughters, Pamela T. Rodriguez (Herbert) and Kimberly A. Ploof (Joe); his stepson Daryl Benefield (Kathy); and his grandchildren, Vinny, Sophie, Gracie and Adam.

In lieu of flowers the family ask that memorials be made to Southern Care New Beacon Hospice for their palliative care, 300 North Airport Rd. Unit 3 & 4, Jasper, AL 35504.
