He was predeceased by: his parents, William Bridgmon and Julia Bridgmon; his wife Georgia Roberta "Bert" Bridgmon; and his granddaughter Hannah Bridgmon. He is survived by: his children, Michael Jauss, James Bridgmon (Joyce), Gary Bridgmon (Susan), Roger Bridgmon (Anita) and Deborah Lang (Robert); and his brother Edgar William Bridgmon. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; and 6 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Diabetes Association.
