He was predeceased by: his parents, Woodie Edwards, Sr. and Janie Ruth Balentine Edwards; his wife Martha Edwards; and his siblings, Charles Edwards and Marie Plylar.
He is survived by: his brother Woody Edwards (Jane); his grandchildren, Jeffrey Edwards, Bradley Edwards, Kelly Sherill (Chris), Celia Edwards and Andrew Edwards (Bailey); and his great grandchildren, Braden Edwards, Ayden Edwards, Baylee Edwards, Loden Edwards, Lydia Sherill, Elle Anna Sherill, Tryton Gene Sherill and Paisley Sherill.
