It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Earl Hughes (Haleyville, Alabama), who passed away on April 8, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Charles Newton Hughes; his grandmother Lowman Hughes of Arizona; his brothers, Paul Hughes and Floyd Hughes; his granddaughter Misty Romine; and his son-in-law Mac McAlpine.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Lauderdale Hughes; his children, Chip Hughes, Suzanne Hughes Tyson and Beth Hughes McAlpine; his grandchildren, Will Hughes Romine (Christe Lee), Elisabeth Hughes Tyson McKinney (Colton), Leah Hughes Tyson, Frank Wyn McAlpine and Charles Scott McAlpine; and his great grandchildren, Emme Romine, Andi Romine and Ben Romine.
