He was predeceased by: his parents, Jess Pruitt and Eva Pruitt; his wife Joanie Pruitt; his sons, Dan Pruitt, Barry Pruitt and Kenny Pruitt; and his son-in-law Stephen Plemmons.
He is survived by: his children, Loretta Plemmons, Emily Pruitt (Zach), Ricky Pruitt (Tammy), Darrin Pruitt (Amy) and Randy Pruitt; and his brother Ronnie Riddle. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Nichols Funeral Home - Haleyville (1607 11th Ave, Haleyville, AL 35565). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
