She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Barnett and Pearlie Barnett; her husband Herbert Jackson; her sons, Terry Jackson and Buddy Jackson; and her siblings, Bill Barnett, Raymond Barnett, Pauline Dodd, Ora Mae Atkinson, Nora Corkren and Sylvia Williford.
She is survived by: her children, R. D. Jackson, Pam, Yvonne Frazier, Johnny Jackson (Lorie) and Phillip Jackson; her sisters, Earnestine Brittnell, Brenda Ward (Jerry), Jackie McInnish and Anne Dykes; her grandchildren, Sherry Hallmark, Andra Crowe, Brian Frazier, Bruce Frazier, Makena Beard, Carter Jackson, Lorie Beth Hopson and Sandy Borden; and her niece Marlene Barton. She is also survived by great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Nichols Funeral Home - Haleyville (1607 11th Ave, Haleyville, AL 35565). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
