He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto Postell and Beatrice Postell; and his siblings, Franklin Postell, L. C. Postell, W. A. Postell, J. L. Postell, Mary Ruth Levert, Geneva Manasco, Lucille Baker, Vestene Hyde, Pauline Vorva, Novline Benefield and Barbara Tidwell.
He is survived by: his daughter Tracy LeAnn Ables (Mashay); his siblings, James B. Postell (Judy), Donnie R. Postell and Luevoise P. Berry (Steve); his granddaughters, Jenna LeeAnn Ables and Rebecca Lee Salter (Demario); and his great grandchildren, Olivia Choate, Elijah Wyatt of Dominick Wyatt, R. J, Ivarie Salter, Kamryn Salter and Martez Salter.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital in Honor of Shannon Postell Miller.
