He is survived by: his wife Laura Wilbanks; his sister Docie Dill; and his children, Robert Wilbanks (Angie), James Wilbanks (Joyce), Lynnell Harris (David), William Eckerfield (Rosa), Patricia Eckerfield, Donald Eckerfield (Glenda), David Eckerfield (Christy) and Tammy Dye (Travis). He is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.
