He was predeceased by: his wife Lillie G. Baker; and his sons, Ray Taylor, Buckey Baker Jr. and Johnathon Baker. He is survived by: his siblings, Jewell Sams, Jerry Baker, Betty Simpson, Randa Allen and Brenda Baker; and his children, Cassie Garrison (Chris), James Baker (Alexis) and Justin Baker (Medina). He is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren.
