He was predeceased by: his father Bobby Sutherland; his grandparents, A. E., Bertha Sutherland, O. B. and Esther Pierce; his uncle Phillip Kelly of Johnny Pierce; and his aunt Linda Pinkard.

He is survived by: his mother Brenda Sutherland; his brother Barry Sutherland; his aunts and uncles, Tim Pierce (Trina), Royce Kelley, Leo Pinkard, Cleta Pinkard, Carolyn Kelly and Fay Kelley; and his cousins, Jeff Kelly, Patrick Kelley, Greg Pinkard and Rhonda Cochran.
