He was predeceased by: his mother Donna Tines Petty; and his grandparents, Thomas Tines and Dorothy Tines. He is survived by: his father Lawrence Petty; his sister Dana Payne; his sons, Matthew Petty and Joseph Petty; his niece Courtney Draughn; and his great-niece Autumn Loveless.
