He was predeceased by: his wife JoAnn Ethridge; his daughter Sherry Atkinson; and his granddaughter Constance Jones. He is survived by: his daughters, Teresa Donahue and Roxanne Jones (Bubba); his sister Patricia "Pat" Ratledge; his grandchildren, Crystal Holladay, Thomas Eaton, Candias Jones and Joshua Holladay; and his great grandchildren, ExZavier Eaton, Logan Joiner and Skyler Joiner.

Burial will be at Charity Lane Cemetery.
