She was predeceased by: her husband William E. Rice; and her parents, E. Vann Bishop and Nannie Jones Bishop. She is survived by: her children, Trena Powers (Hayes) and Kevin Rice (Deen); her grandson Todd Powers (Shannon); and her great grandchildren, Jack Aubrey Powers and William Henry Powers.
