He was predeceased by: his father J. D. Hutchens. He is survived by: his mother Erma White Hutchens; his children, Jimmy Kent (Tabetha), Jonathan Kent, David Hutchens (Rachel) and Rachel Veal (Austin); and his sister Evie Keel (Mike). He is also survived by five uncles, one aunt and several cousins.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the New Hope Funeral Home (2500 Oak Grove Rd, New Hope, AL 35760). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the New Hope Funeral Home Chapel (2500 Oak Grove Rd, New Hope, AL 35760). A burial was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Gurley Cemetery (Cemetery Rd, Gurley, AL 35748).
