It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elizabeth Ann Wallace Carter of Gurley, Alabama, who passed away on September 20, 2020, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her husband Merle Ray Carter; her children, Donna Lamb Bowyer (Don Bowyer), Melanie Coffman (Jimmy Coffman), Melissa Vann (Steve Vann) and Johnathan Carter (Barbara Carter); her grandchildren, April White, Kristy Rossi, Andy Coffman, Brian Coffman, Adrienne Moon, Joshua Carter, Brooke Young and Jared Carter; and her great grandchildren, Ashton Coffman, Kendall Young, Zachary White, Elijah Moon, Vivian Coffman, Leah Moon, Saylor Young, Moses Coffman, Carter Rossi, Jack Carter, Cora Coffman and Sarah Moon. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
