He is survived by: his wife Betty Thomas (Fergerson); his children, Doyce Thomas, Jr. (Patty) of Pinson, AL and Joyce Thomas of Gurley; his sister Geraldine Baker Henderson of Gaffney, SC; his grandchildren, Josh Tweedy (Melonia), Nikki Tweedy Sansoucy (Eddie) of Tampa, FL, Jason Thomas of Pinson and Ryan Thomas (Ashley) of Nolensville, TN.; and his friend Emily Reiney.
