She was predeceased by: her husband Emmett Sanders; her son Michael Sanders; her siblings, Mary Elizabeth Gazes, Bee Corum and Bill Gipson; and her close friend Doris Newman.
She is survived by: her daughter Donna Pate; her grandson Michael Daniell (Lauren); her great grandchild Isabelle; her granddaughters, Mary Ruth Pate and Margaret Anne Tucker (Grayson); her great grandchildren, Emmett and John; her sister Jimmie Edwards (Thomas); and her sisters-in-law, Margie DeArmond, Pat Wyatt (Fred) and Catherine Edwards (Willard).
