He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Goble and Nellie "Mae" Jo Finley; his siblings, Kenny Whisenant, James Ward and Kay Abernathy; and his nephew Toney Goble (Lamar).
He is survived by: his wife Diane Pullen Goble; his children, Tyler Goble (Austin), Brandon Wordlaw (Jaime) and Amy Proctor (Jason); his siblings, Toney Goble (Debbie), Anthony Whisenant (Jan), Jonathan Finley, Vickie Guess, Gina Hathcock (James) and Sherry McCoy (Timmy); and his grandchildren, Jase, Judd Proctor (Brooke), Lauren and Brock Wordlaw. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
