She was predeceased by: her husband L. B. McClendon; her parents, Allie A. Vaughn and Etta Marsh Vaughn; and her siblings, Chad Vaughn, Garnett Vaughn, Cecil Vaughn, Vaughn and Clara Vaughn Sherill.
She is survived by: her children, Gary McClendon (Lita), Gerald McClendon (Pam), Kay Sterling (Dale), Sherry Patterson (Mike) and Kathy Brown (Bob). She is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, great- great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
