Vera Jewel Ramsay Obituary
We are sad to announce that on June 11, 2024, at the age of 77, Vera Jewel Ramsay of Guntersville, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Van Buren Cook and Gladys Cook (Jones); her husband John D. Ramsay (Pappi); her siblings, Wallace Cook (Diane) and Becky Whitehead; her children, Sherry Green Newman and Anthony Green (Perry); her grandchildren, Kristin Weatherman (Colby), Larissa Mosley (Lee) and Michael Ward-Green; her great grandchildren, Connor, Lacey, Liza, Angelese, Xavier, Isabella, Judah, Nehemiah and Nico; her brother Van Cook; her former husband Billy W Green; and her caregivers, Athena, Melody and Chaplain Lynn. She was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to Shepherd's Cove Hospice, 408 Martling Road, Albertville, AL 35951.
