He was predeceased by: his wife Amey Morton; his son Alex Morton; his parents, Verlon Morton and Frances Morton; and his siblings, Roger Morton, Dale Morton, Christy Morton-Echols and Angela Morton.
He is survived by: his daughter Heather Edmonds (Jason); and his grandchildren, Emma Edmonds, Deven Edmonds and Landen Morton. He is also survived by four nephews and one niece along with a host of cousins.
