It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Holmes of Guntersville, Alabama, born in Somerset, Kentucky, who passed away on May 19, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Donald. He is survived by: his wife Sally Kimbrough; his children, Rick Holmes (Susan), Holly Holmes Williams, Ann Holmes Sears (Rusty) and Heather Holmes Burns (Dan); his grandson Cole R Holmes; his children, Cade R Holmes, Macy Holmes, Weston Williams, Wilder Williams, Walker Jones Williams, Darby Burns, Jamie Sears (Leanna), Carr Sears and Drew Sears; and his sister Mariam Martin.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donation be made to Grace Fellowship School in Albertville.
