He was predeceased by: his wife Joyce F. Cambron; and his son Reynald James Charles "Chuck" Pickett. He is survived by: his siblings, Charles Pickett of Harrisburg, NC, Ronald Siler of Camp Hill, PA, Gloria Sipe of Harrisburg, PA, Eric Siler of Etters, PA and Lisa Siler of Camp Hill, PA; his children, William Edward Pickett of Arab, AL, Cambron Heith Pickett of Arab Al and Heather Jossie Pickett of Boaz Al; and his grandchildren, Jenifer L. Gray, Robert K. Pickett of Huntsville Al and Justin C. Parsons of Arab Al. He is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Carr Funeral Home (1960 Obrig Ave, Guntersville, AL 35976). A memorial service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
