He was predeceased by: his parent Raybon; and his brother Jimmy Owens. He is survived by: his sister Joy Long; his children, Hannah Huaytalla (Renzzo), Alana Stephens, Vanessa Thornell (Reed) and Chris Smith; his nieces, Pam Lee and Sheila Marker (David); and his nephew Michael Long.
