He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Joseph Franchina and Cecilia Franchina; his wife Rose Franchina; his brother Alfred Franchina (Cheryl); his children, Eric Mendis (Joleen), Christine Fingado (Brian), Sheila Chandler (Alan), Travis Mendis and Shannon Wolgang (Ryan); and his grandchildren, Molly, Monica, Hunter, Skylar, Mark, Lauren, Arianna and Ryder.
