She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Ryan and Mary Ryan; her sister Mary Virginia Matthews; and her husband Billy Ray Padgett. She is survived by: her children, Katy Norton (David) of Arab, Ruth Durden (Scooter) of Madison, Lindsey Champion (Brandon) of Guntersville, Jason Padgett (Jana) of Huntsville and Gina Cannon of Huntsville; her grandchildren, Brandon Jones (Casey), Tristan Clay (Aaron), Harry, Caroline, Gabe Norton, Katelynn Page, Dylan Padgett, Hannah and John Wallace Champion; and her great grandchildren, Tanner Jones, Mason Jones and Oliver Padgett.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Guntersville Memorial Chapel (1601 Henry St, Guntersville, AL 35976). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
