With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Nina Weed Meeks of Guntersville, Alabama, who passed away on December 12, 2023 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Asa Clyde Weed and Clarice Ethridge Weed; her husband Edsel Foye Meeks; her son Jody Edsel Meeks; and her siblings, Virgina Paton, Norma Jo Herb, Barbara Pickard, Geneva Weed, Don Weed and Allen Weed.
She is survived by: her children, Melanie Landry (Darrell) of Lake Charles, LA and Allen Meeks (Chip) of McComb, MS; her granddaughter Torrey Guidry (Cody); her great grandchild Lily Boyd of Sulphur, LA; and her siblings, Penny Dilmore of Arab, AL, Pat Dunn of Brookhaven, MS, Earl (Bud) and Mark Weed (Debbie) of Henagar, AL. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
